Bitget has announced plans to resume withdrawals in phases from September 28, following a security incident that prompted a temporary suspension. The crypto exchange stated that it has identified and fixed the vulnerability linked to the September 24 incident.

The phased approach will see Bitcoin withdrawals return first on September 28 at 08:00 UTC, followed by ETH and USDT withdrawals on September 29 and 30 respectively. Remaining tokens, fiat withdrawals, and P2P services are scheduled to return on October 2.

Bitget emphasized that the withdrawal pause was a security measure rather than an issue of customer asset availability, with user account balances remaining unaffected. The company's Protection Fund will cover any financial impact resulting from the platform-wide incident.
