Bitget Points Fingers at North Korea in $351 Million Crypto Heist

Crypto exchange Bitget suspects North Korean hackers are behind a security breach that resulted in $351.6 million in digital assets being stolen.

The breach was detected on Thursday afternoon, with investigators identifying internet protocol addresses linked to VPN services previously used by a North Korean hacking group, according to CEO Gracy Chen.

The pattern of the attack resembles earlier operations attributed to North Korea, said Chen in a livestream on X.
