Bitget Reopens BTC Withdrawals After $387.5M Security Breach

Bitget, a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, has reopened Bitcoin withdrawals after a significant security breach resulted in the loss of $387.5 million worth of assets.

The incident led to a temporary halt on all withdrawals for Bitcoin, while ETH and USDT withdrawals remain paused at this time.

In response to the breach, Bitget's CEO Gracy Chen has pledged to replenish the protection fund above $300 million by the end of the week.
