Bitget Reopens BTC Withdrawals After $387M Hack, ETH and USDT Still on Hold

Bitget has reopened Bitcoin withdrawals after a $387.5 million security breach on September 24, but customers must wait for Ethereum and USDT transfers.

The exchange's public feed showed BTC futures trading at around 04:20 UTC on September 28, suggesting that the first stage of its phased reopening plan was underway.

Bitget initially estimated affected assets at $351.6 million but raised the estimate to approximately $387.5 million after identifying more transactions from the original incident.
