Crypto exchange Bitget has resumed Bitcoin withdrawals after a security incident that occurred last week.

The breach, which impacted nearly $388 million in assets, affected parts of the exchange's hot and warm wallet infrastructure but left its cold wallets secure.

Bitget initially halted outflows while it verified which wallets and networks were affected and confirmed that the attacker continues to move stolen crypto through THORChain.

The exchange resumed Bitcoin withdrawals on Monday, citing restored withdrawal infrastructure and ongoing security checks.

Ether withdrawals are scheduled to resume Tuesday, while Tether's USDT is expected to follow on Wednesday for specified networks.
