Bitget's CEO Gracy Chen addressed concerns over a recent withdrawal pause on September 28, stating that it was a precautionary measure following a security incident affecting multiple chains and assets.

The issue did not indicate a shortage of user assets, with losses covered by the Bitget Protection Fund. Chen emphasized that BTC withdrawals were restored first, as they were unaffected by the attack, followed by ETH and USDT based on user demand and security verification progress.

This phased approach aims to assure users of the platform's commitment to security while managing potential risks and restoring confidence.
