Bitget Resumes Withdrawals Amid Ongoing Security Issues and MEXC Hacking Incident

Bitget has resumed its BTC withdrawal service as scheduled, following a security incident earlier this month. Currently, Bitget supports BTC withdrawals, and other tokens will follow gradually starting from October 2.

The exchange's CEO Gracy Chen and Greater China Head Xie Jiayin are conducting a public live stream to review the incident, share progress, and answer user questions in real-time.

In related news, MEXC users have reported compromised accounts due to an API backdoor, resulting in approximately $340,000 worth of stolen assets. The platform has since frozen affected accounts and assisted in recovery efforts.
