Bitget Suffers $351 Million Breach, Suspends Withdrawals

Bitget, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that it detected unauthorized transfers involving approximately $351.6 million in cryptocurrency on September 24.

The breach affected portions of its hot and warm wallets, but its cold wallets were not compromised.

The transferred assets included 102,926,478 XRP valued at $157.48 million and 31,890 Ether (ETH) valued at $85.75 million.

Bitget's User Protection Fund held more than $464 million at the time of the incident.
