Bitget Suffers $351M Breach, AlphaPepe's AI Trading Interface Gains Attention

Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange, recently suffered a breach resulting in the unauthorized transfer of approximately $351.6 million in assets from its hot and warm wallet systems.

The company temporarily halted withdrawals while deposits and trading continued, but customers are still waiting for their funds to be restored.

BGB, Bitget's exchange token, traded around $1.97 early Friday, down about 3.3% over 24 hours.

However, experts caution that a collapse of BGB to $0 is unlikely, as the reported loss was not in BGB and Bitget's protection fund covers the loss.

In contrast, AlphaPepe is gaining attention for its AI-powered trading interface and Stage 20 presale, which offers investors a chance to examine the product before its token, ALPE, lists on exchanges.
