Bitget Suffers Record-Breaking Customer Outflows After Hack
Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange, has seen a massive $463 million net outflow in the past 24 hours, following last week's $388 million theft. This is the largest one-day net outflow since data aggregator DefiLlama began tracking proof-of-reserves four years ago.
The exchange had suspended withdrawals after the hack but has now started restoring them in stages, beginning with Bitcoin, followed by Ether and USDT.
Despite this, customers continue to move their assets off the platform, leaving Bitget with about $5.7 billion in reserves.
