Bitget Suspends Withdrawals Amid Security Breach

Crypto exchange Bitget has suspended withdrawals following a security breach that affected around $351.6 million in assets, according to its CEO Gracy Chen.

The breach occurred on September 24 and involved unauthorized transfers from some hot wallets.

Chen stated that user funds and cold wallets are safe, citing the exchange's three-tier wallet structure as a security measure.

The company has promised to publish an incident report within 24 hours and has assured users that deposits and trading remain available.
