Bitget Wallet Expands Tokenized Equity Lineup with Reality Integration
Bitget Wallet has integrated Reality's tokenized-asset protocol, giving its users access to over 1,700 tokenized U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds. This move is part of a growing trend among crypto platforms to offer exposure to U.S. equities.
The addition of Reality's tokens, known as rTokens, expands Bitget Wallet's already extensive lineup of tokenized equities. These rTokens are backed one-to-one by shares held at Alpaca Securities, a FINRA-registered broker-dealer, and have daily reserves attested by a third-party accounting firm.
Holders of these tokens can receive dividends in stablecoins directly to their wallets and benefit from automatic corporate actions such as stock splits. The tokens can also be used within other decentralized-finance applications, including as collateral.
