Bitget Wallet Integrates Reality for 1.7k Tokenized Stocks and ETFs

Bitget Wallet has integrated Reality, a regulated tokenized asset issuance protocol, to bring over 1700 tokenized stocks and ETFs to its 100 million users worldwide. This integration enables users to trade these assets directly from their self-custodial wallets without converting funds off-chain or surrendering custody of their assets.

The Reality protocol provides tokenized exposure to more than 1700 U.S. stocks and ETFs, covering 95% of total U.S. market trading volume. Each rToken is backed 1:1 by underlying U.S. shares held at Alpaca Securities, a FINRA-registered broker-dealer, with reserves independently attested daily by a third-party CPA firm.

Rtokens are also DeFi-composable, allowing supported assets to be integrated into onchain applications and used across functions such as collateral and other DeFi protocols. Eligible dividends are distributed directly to users' wallets in stablecoins, while corporate actions such as stock splits are reflected automatically.
