Bitget's Protection Fund has reported an average valuation of $382 million in August, thanks to the Bitcoin rally through the second half of the month. According to a recent report from Bitget, the fund reached a monthly high of $441.5 million on August 27 and a low of $345.3 million on August 1.

The Protection Fund's reserves are supported by Bitget's holdings of 5,500 BTC, which contributed to a higher valuation as Bitcoin gained momentum in August. The cryptocurrency rose from $62,773 on August 1 to $78,553 on August 31, an increase of over 25%.

As the fund's valuation is published transparently and updated regularly, users can see the available reserves as market conditions evolve. Bitget's CEO, Gracy Chen, emphasized the importance of strong safeguards in a rapidly expanding ecosystem: 'Strong markets don't reduce the need for strong safeguards.'
