BitGo and HashKey Cloud Expand Partnership to Boost Institutional Crypto Services
BitGo Holdings and HashKey Cloud have formalized a strategic partnership to expand their collaboration beyond staking into institutional trading, custody, and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. The agreement, signed during TOKEN2049 week in Singapore, builds on a previous staking collaboration announced in July.
The partnership will enable HashKey Cloud to act as a validator partner on BitGo's platform for Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) staking, targeting eligible institutional clients in the Asia-Pacific region. The collaboration also includes joint efforts in institutional trading and the provision of BitGo's custody solutions to HashKey Capital and its associated funds.
BitGo will further support HashKey's initiatives in RWA tokenization, leveraging BitGo's global custody standards and HashKey's regulated presence in Hong Kong. According to Abel Seow, Managing Director and Head of APAC Sales at BitGo, the partnership addresses the demand for regulated infrastructure across the full asset lifecycle in Asia.
Leo Li, CEO of HashKey OnChain BG, emphasized the importance of this partnership in facilitating institutional adoption of digital assets in Asia. The agreement combines BitGo's digital asset infrastructure with HashKey's regulated footprint, offering institutions a trusted pathway across staking, trading, custody, and tokenization.
