BitGo Bolsters Institutional DeFi Adoption with DecibelTrade Integration
BitGo has integrated its institutional self-custody wallets with DecibelTrade, a decentralized exchange operating on the Aptos network. This integration enables eligible clients to connect directly to the DEX through WalletConnect, allowing them to trade spot and perpetual contracts without transferring assets to a separate wallet.
The connection runs through WalletConnect, a protocol that lets wallets communicate with decentralized applications without exposing private keys. BitGo's multi-party computation (MPC) wallets, which split cryptographic keys across multiple parties, plug directly into DecibelTrade's trading interface.
BitGo's existing security protocols remain active throughout the process, including address whitelisting and multi-party approvals. Every transaction still routes through the same approval workflows the firm already uses.
