BitGo Expands HashKey Partnership to Boost Institutional Crypto Services in Asia
BitGo Holdings saw its stock price rise by 0.27% in pre-market trading after announcing an expanded partnership with HashKey Cloud. The collaboration aims to strengthen institutional access to crypto services across staking, trading, custody, and real-world asset tokenization in Asia. The agreement was formalized during TOKEN2049 week in Singapore, where executives from both companies attended a signing ceremony.
Under the new deal, HashKey Cloud will support Ethereum and Solana staking for eligible BitGo clients. BitGo will also provide custody services to HashKey Capital and related investment funds. The partnership leverages BitGo’s global custody infrastructure and HashKey Cloud’s staking and Web3 infrastructure, offering a comprehensive solution for institutional clients in regulated Asian markets.
The initial focus is on Ethereum staking, with HashKey Cloud acting as a validator partner on BitGo’s institutional staking platform. Services will be limited to jurisdictions where local regulations permit. Additionally, the partnership will extend to Solana staking, institutional trading flows, and real-world asset tokenization projects, broadening BitGo’s reach in the digital asset space.
HashKey Group, a regulated digital asset business based in Hong Kong, brings a strong presence in Asia, while BitGo provides global custody services tailored for institutional clients. Together, they aim to support digital asset adoption through regulated infrastructure across key Asian markets.
