BitGo Taps Former NYDIG Analyst to Lead New Research Division
BitGo has launched a dedicated research arm, BitGo Research, to provide data-driven market analysis for institutional clients. The new division will produce ongoing market commentary and thematic reports covering digital asset markets and emerging industry trends.
The unit's unique angle is its access to operational data flowing through one of the largest custody and settlement platforms in the industry. This gives it a data advantage over pure research shops or asset managers, who rely on public blockchain data or third-party feeds.
Leading the charge is Greg Cipolaro, former Global Head of Research at NYDIG's institutional trading business. Cipolaro has built his reputation at NYDIG and his appointment carries extra weight given that BitGo acquired NYDIG earlier this year.
