Bithumb, South Korea's leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced its plan to go public through an initial public offering (IPO) in 2028. The company aims to enhance corporate transparency and investor protection levels by adhering to institutionalized financial standards. To advance the IPO, Bithumb has launched multiple reform measures, including introducing a risk management system and promoting the spin-off of subsidiary Bithumb Asset.

Tether Gold holdings grew 9.5% in Q2, with investor holdings increasing to 612,823.66 tokens. The growth indicates continuously increasing demand for on-chain gold assets, despite international gold prices falling 14.1% during the same period.
