Bithumb, a South Korean cryptocurrency exchange, will suspend deposits and withdrawals for Pocket Network's POKT token starting August 18 at 9:00 a.m. UTC to support an upcoming network upgrade.

The suspension is a standard precautionary measure taken by exchanges during network upgrades to prevent transaction errors or loss of funds.

Pocket Network, a decentralized infrastructure protocol, aims to improve its RPC efficiency and reliability through the upgrade, which will have long-term benefits for the protocol's performance.
