Bithumb Sets Sights on 2028 IPO with Ambitious Revenue Growth Plans

Bithumb, one of South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has shared its roadmap for going public by 2028. The exchange aims to list on a major stock market in the next three years and has outlined several key milestones along the way.

The roadmap details plans to increase revenue from $1.2 billion in 2023 to $4.5 billion by 2026, representing a compound annual growth rate of around 65%. Bithumb also expects its user base to grow from 12 million to 20 million over the same period.

'We are committed to becoming one of the world's top three cryptocurrency exchanges,' said Bithumb CEO Yoon Oh-sung. 'We will continue to work hard to achieve our vision and make a positive impact on the global blockchain ecosystem.'
