Strategy Unloads 1,638 Bitcoin for $104.7 Million Amid Dividend Payments

Michael Saylor's Strategy has sold 1,638 Bitcoin between July 27 and August 2, marking its second-largest Bitcoin sale this year. The company disclosed that it had sold BTC at an average price of $63,957 for a total of $104.7 million.

The proceeds from the sale were used to fund dividend payments on Strategy's STRC preferred stock, with $52.4 million allocated for this purpose. Another $52.3 million was used to repurchase STRC shares.

Strategy now holds 842,138 Bitcoin bought at an aggregate cost of $63.5 billion. The company also reported selling $290 million in MSTR shares during the same period, with about $250 million used to increase its USD reserve to $4 billion.
