Bithumb Sounds Alarm on BLAST, Suspends Deposits
Bithumb has issued a trading warning for Blast (BLAST) and announced plans to suspend deposits, citing concerns over the project's sustainability and potential effects on its functionality.
The exchange said it placed BLAST on its warning list after the foundation announced its plan to end mainnet operations, which prompted further review of the project's actual progress and potential impact on the asset's purpose.
The trading warning will take effect on October 3, 2026, and deposits are scheduled to be suspended at 01:30 Korea time on that date. Transfers sent before the suspension time may fail to appear in accounts due to network congestion or confirmation delays.
