Bitkub, a Thai-based cryptocurrency exchange, has announced its plan to migrate Sophon (SOPH) tokens from the Sophon network to Ethereum (ERC-20). As part of this process, Bitkub will discontinue deposit and withdrawal support for SOPH on the Sophon network starting September 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM. The trading of SOPH will remain available during this period.

According to the announcement, all SOPH tokens held in Bitkub wallets will be automatically migrated to the Ethereum network. However, users are advised not to transfer SOPH to the Sophon network after September 3, 2026 due to the risk of permanent asset loss.

Bitkub has stated that updates concerning the activation of deposit and withdrawal services on the Ethereum network will be communicated in the future. Once the Sophon network is deactivated, only Ethereum-based SOPH tokens will be supported for deposits and withdrawals.
