BitMart Ends Trading Services August 26, Citing Future Strategy
BitMart has initiated a global wind-down of its trading platform, setting an August 26 deadline for all spot, futures and other trading services. The exchange stopped accepting new registrations and deposits from July 26 at 01:30 UTC. Futures accounts are now in reduce-only mode, while spot trading will no longer accept new orders.
BitMart attributed the closure to its operating conditions, market environment, and future strategy. It did not identify a single event or regulatory action behind the decision. The exchange warned users that withdrawals may require additional reviews due to heavy demand or blockchain congestion.
