Solana Surges as Institutional Interest Grows, But Near-Term Pullback Looms
Solana's price has risen to near $76.76 as institutional interest in the asset strengthens, driven by Cathie Wood's ARK Invest increasing its position via a $168,400 stake in the 3iQ Solana Staking ETF.
This move comes on the heels of Solana-focused exchange-traded funds attracting $7.2 million in new capital last week and stablecoin supply reaching a record $17 billion, reflecting deepening ecosystem momentum.
The SOL/USD price remains above both its MA-20 ($74.44) and MA-50 ($74.5) on the hourly chart but stays below the long-term MA-200 ($88.39), with ongoing buy pressure indicated by MACD and ADX, as well as the Awesome Oscillator.
However, overbought signals on RSI (72), Stoch RSI, and CCI suggest buyers are currently in control but also point to potential for a near-term pullback if momentum stalls.
