BitMart, a Cayman Islands-based crypto exchange, is considering a restructuring plan that includes phased restarts of operations and creditor payouts. The move comes just days before its final trading day on August 26, with the platform set to close entirely by January 31, 2027.

The exchange has hired law firm White & Case to guide the restructuring process and plans to release a detailed roadmap by September 9. Users have reported withdrawal issues since the shutdown announcement, and the exchange's token BMX has dropped over 86% this year.
