BitMart Revives Amid Restructuring Plans

Share

BitMart, a cryptocurrency exchange, has announced plans to explore a potential restructuring plan. The move comes after the exchange initially announced its closure on July 26, citing plans to cease all operations by January 31, 2027.

The announcement sparked panic among users attempting to withdraw their assets from the exchange. However, in a recent update, BitMart revealed that it may not be shutting down after all.

According to the exchange, the restructuring plan may involve the phased resumption of certain operations and distributions to creditors. White & Case has been hired as restructuring counsel to help assess options, with a roadmap detailing the exchange's future expected by September 9, 2026.
