BitMart US Users Face Deadline for Crypto Withdrawal Amid Compliance Checks

Share

BitMart is giving its US users just days to withdraw their crypto assets before aggressive new compliance checks risk freezing them. The exchange has set an August 8 deadline at 23:59 UTC for US users to cancel outstanding orders, close positions, redeem or withdraw eligible balances, and remove remaining assets.

The notice applies to users who reside in the US or are treated as such under BitMart's agreement and policies. After the deadline, BitMart may further restrict affected accounts and handle remaining assets according to applicable law, user agreements, and compliance procedures.

Withdrawals may require identity verification, source-of-funds information, proof of wallet ownership, or a security review. The exchange did not specify a maximum processing time, so submitted requests may remain subject to checks after the deadline.
