BitMine Adds to Ethereum Holdings as AlphaPepe Presale Enters Final Stretch
BitMine, a company known for its Ethereum holdings, has added another 53,501 ETH to its treasury, bringing its total to 5.9 million ETH. This accumulation streak now stands at 65 consecutive weeks, making BitMine the largest corporate Ethereum treasury.
The scale of this acquisition is significant because it shows that institutional confidence in Ethereum remains strong despite its volatility. In fact, BitMine's holdings are approaching its stated goal of owning 5% of the total ETH supply, a level that would have looked extraordinary just a few cycles ago.
On the other hand, AlphaPepe offers retail traders an earlier entry point into the market. The presale price for ALPE is currently $0.02845, with $2.57 million raised and over 11,400 holders on board. The planned listing price starts from $0.08, creating a visible step above the current presale level before wider market price discovery begins.
The contrast between BitMine's established position and AlphaPepe's early-stage exposure is striking. While BitMine has built up its holdings over years of public price discovery, ALPE is still in presale, with DEX trading planned for Q1 2027.
