BitMine has added another significant batch of Ethereum to its growing reserve. The company acquired 7,500 ETH worth approximately $14.61 million, according to onchain data provided by Onchain Lens.

The purchase was made from BitGo and transferred to a new wallet associated with BitMine. This latest buy adds to the company's existing Ethereum holdings, which now comprise more than 4.8% of the total supply.

BitMine's acquisition has sparked interest in the market, particularly given its timing. The ETH price has pulled back after its recent rise, yet BitMine chose to increase its position instead of waiting for a potential rebound.
