Bitmine Doubles Down on Ethereum with $68M Purchase

Bitmine Immersion Technologies has made significant investments in Ethereum (ETH) by purchasing $68 million worth of the cryptocurrency. This acquisition brings their total holdings to nearly 5.96 million ETH, accounting for approximately 4.9% of all circulating Ethereum.

The company's chairman, Tom Lee, highlighted bullish factors such as tokenization and AI on blockchain as growth drivers for the investment.

Bitmine also generates revenue through staking over 5 million ETH, projecting $330 million annually. The company continues to make weekly purchases in its effort to reach 5% ownership of Ethereum's total supply.
