BitMine ETH Treasury Surpasses $17B as It Near 6 Million Token Milestone
BitMine's Ethereum (ETH) treasury has reached nearly 6 million tokens, according to a recent filing. The company now holds 5,983,940 ETH, which is just shy of the milestone. This represents approximately 4.9% of the circulating ETH supply.
The combined value of BitMine's treasury holdings stands at $17.1 billion. This figure includes its position in Bitcoin (BTC), cash and marketable securities worth $714 million, as well as stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco totaling $285 million.
BitMine's strategy shows how quickly public-company crypto treasuries have expanded from being predominantly associated with Bitcoin to now focusing on Ethereum. This shift is significant because it gives the company exposure not only to ETH's price but also to the broader economics surrounding staking, network activity, and institutional demand for Ethereum-based assets.
