Bitmine Hits 6.02 Million ETH as Crypto Holdings Surge to $17.4 Billion
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has announced a significant milestone in its Ethereum holdings, reaching 6.02 million ETH tokens. The company's total crypto and cash holdings now stand at $17.4 billion, including $643 million in cash and marketable securities. This positions Bitmine as the largest Ethereum treasury globally, holding 4.9% of the total ETH supply.
Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, highlighted the company's consistent performance, noting that BMNR shares outperformed ETH during the 2025-2026 bear market. Lee also emphasized Bitmine's commitment to shareholder returns, citing the largest-ever crypto treasury equity buyback, which acquired 21 million shares in 2026. The company's staking platform, MAVAN, has staked 5.06 million ETH, generating projected annualized staking revenues of $363 million.
Bitmine's portfolio also includes strategic investments in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS) and Beast Industries, alongside its Bitcoin and Ethereum holdings. The company is backed by prominent institutional investors, including ARK's Cathie Wood and Thomas Lee. Bitmine management believes regulatory developments like the GENIUS Act and the SEC's Project Crypto are transformational for financial services.
Tom Lee is set to deliver the keynote at the Token2049 conference in Singapore on October 7, 2026. The company's latest Chairman's Message for October 2026, titled 'Crypto bull underway, this cycle likely the largest,' is expected to be released this week.
