Bitmine Hits ETH Holdings Milestone Amid Crypto Market Surge

Bitmine Immersion Technologies, Inc., a blockchain technology infrastructure company, announced its latest holdings update. The company revealed it now controls 5.85 million ETH tokens, which is approximately $14.9 billion in value.

The total cash and marketable securities held by Bitmine amount to $308 million, while its other crypto holdings are valued at $89 million. The company's Ethereum treasury now accounts for 4.8% of the total ETH supply, with a notable milestone of being 97% of the way to owning 5% of the ETH coin supply.

Bitmine has been actively acquiring ETH tokens every week since June 30, 2025, and its Chairman, Thomas 'Tom' Lee, stated that the recent 30% gain in ETH is a sign of a larger move. Lee noted that easing financial conditions will be a tailwind for crypto.

The company's staking operations generated a 7-day yield of 2.67%, with annualized staking revenues projected at $330 million. Bitmine remains the largest ETH treasury in the world and is supported by prominent institutional investors, including ARK's Cathie Wood and Pantera.
