BitMine Immersion Stock Flashes Golden Cross as Ethereum Buying Nears Inflection Point
BitMine Immersion's stock has formed a golden cross pattern, a technical indicator that often precedes further gains, despite a slight pullback from its September highs. After peaking at $28.76, the stock has dropped to $26.27. The company's Ethereum buying spree is nearing a potential inflection point, with Tom Lee's accumulation vehicle having reached a milestone last week when it crossed 6 million ETH tokens, now holding about 4.8% of all ETH in circulation.
The company's Ethereum holdings are valued at over $16 billion, slightly higher than its market capitalization of $15.8 billion. It also holds other assets, including 213 Bitcoin, a $180 million stake in Beast Industries, and a $115 stake in EightCo. Additionally, it has over $672 million in cash and marketable securities.
BitMine's stock will benefit from the completion of Ethereum buying, which will stop diluting its shareholders through at-the-market offerings and allow it to maximize its Ethereum staking. The company has staked over 5.1 million tokens, with annualized staking revenue estimated at about $358 million, which will jump after it stakes all its holdings.
Analysts are bullish on Ethereum's price, with Citigroup estimating it will reach over $3,000, and Lee believing a renewed bull run is imminent. The stock has formed a bullish flag pattern and has completed filling a fair value gap, suggesting it may eventually rebound to the psychological level of $30.
