Bitmine Quietly Amasses Six Million ETH, Eyes Five Percent Target
Bitmine Immersion Technologies has quietly amassed nearly six million ETH, giving it control of roughly four-point-nine percent of all ether in circulation. Its sixteen billion dollar ethereum pile is now just one-twenty-one thousand ETH shy of Chairman Tom Lee's 'Alchemy of five percent' target.
The company has been buying ETH every single week since June 30th, 2025, and it's already staking thirteen-point-six billion dollars of the haul. According to records, Bitmine now holds five million nine hundred eighty-three thousand nine hundred forty ETH, roughly four-point-nine percent of ether's circulating supply.
Tom Lee says Bitmine is ninety-eight percent toward its five percent ETH goal, with about one-twenty-one thousand tokens left. The company needs another one-twenty-one thousand ETH to reach its target at current supply levels. What started as a corporate treasury experiment has left Bitmine within striking distance of owning one-twentieth of the circulating ether supply.
Alongside its ETH, the company holds two hundred and twelve bitcoin, seven hundred fourteen million dollars in cash and marketable securities, plus stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco Holdings. Altogether, Bitmine values its crypto, cash, and 'moonshot' holdings at seventeen billion one hundred million dollars.
