Bitmine Surpasses 5% ETH Holdings Milestone

Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) announced its Ethereum holdings have reached 5.79 million tokens, representing 4.8% of the total ETH coin supply of 120.7 million.

The company's crypto and cash holdings now total $11.8 billion, with $9.6 billion in staked ETH valued at $1,948 per token.

Bitmine repurchased 6.1 million common stock shares in the past week, bringing its total repurchases to 11.6 million under a previously authorized $4 billion share buyback program.

The company's Chairman, Thomas 'Tom' Lee, stated that Bitmine views the rising ETH/BTC ratio as a sign of strengthening crypto prices, despite falling odds for the Clarity Act passage in 2026.
