PM Takaichi Denies Involvement in Cryptocurrency Named After Her

Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has denied any involvement in a newly launched cryptocurrency token named after her, known as 'Sanae Token.'

The token was reportedly developed by individuals connected to businessman Ken Matsui and had ties to Tsuyoshi Kinoshita, the PM's chief public secretary.

Kinoshita admitted to having engaged in communications with business operators related to Matsui, but believed 'Sanae Token' referred to app points rather than a cryptocurrency.
