BitMine Surpasses 6 Million ETH Holdings, Closing In on 5% Stake

BitMine Immersion Technologies, associated with Fundstrat's Tom Lee, continues to accumulate Ethereum (ETH) in its treasury. The company has added another 17,362 ETH, bringing its total holdings to 6,001,302 ETH. This represents 4.9% of Ethereum's circulating supply, placing BitMine close to its stated objective of holding a 5% stake.

The size of BitMine's position makes it a significant holder of Ethereum through its treasury operations. According to BSCN, the company has centralized a substantial portion of the network's liquid supply through its treasury management process.

BitMine's total assets include $17.2 billion in cash and digital currency, with the majority of its Ethereum holdings allocated for staking. The company has staked 5,067,309 ETH, equivalent to 84% of its reported balance.
