Bitmine Surpasses Six Million Ethereum Tokens, Ranks Second in Crypto Reserves
Bitmine Immersion has surpassed six million Ethereum tokens in its reserves, marking a significant milestone for the company. As of September 27, Bitmine's balance sheet listed a total of 6,001,302 ETH, accounting for approximately 4.9% of the network's circulating supply of 122.1 million ETH. This achievement has propelled Bitmine to become the world's second-largest holder of cryptocurrency reserves, behind only MicroStrategy.
The company's asset base has reached $17.2 billion, comprising digital assets, cash, and marketable securities. Since launching its systematic purchasing program on June 30, 2025, a weekly dollar-cost averaging strategy has remained in effect, under which 5.07 million ETH have been allocated to network validation.
Bitmine projects that staked assets could generate annual yields of up to $358 million, with an annualized yield of 2.62% based on the past seven days' data. If all reserve deployments are completed, annual profits could rise to $424 million. The company's inclusion in the Russell 1000 Large-Cap Index as of June 26, 2026, has also contributed to its growing legitimacy and influence within the traditional financial system.
Thomas Lee, Chairman of Bitmine's Director, will attend the Korea Blockchain Week conference in Seoul on September 30, 2026, and deliver a public speech. At that time, he will elaborate on the company's long-term asset strategy, highlighting its commitment to crypto-native enterprises solidifying their legitimacy within the traditional financial system.
