BitMine's $81M ETH Acquisition Fuels 30% Weekly Surge in Ethereum Price

BitMine, an Ethereum treasury company, has made its largest weekly acquisition of ETH tokens since July. The firm purchased 32,447 tokens valued at approximately $81 million, expanding its total reserves to 5.847 million ETH.

This transaction boosted BitMine's cumulative portfolio value to roughly $14.6 billion and increased its control over Ethereum's circulating supply to about 4.8%.

BitMine has been consistently adding ETH to its treasury since June 2025, aiming to control 5% of the total supply, which translates to approximately 6.04 million ETH. The company still needs to acquire around 187,000 additional tokens to reach this goal.
