Bitmine's Crypto Holdings Soar to $15.6 Billion with 5.9 Million ETH
Bitmine Immersion Technologies has announced its massive crypto holdings, totaling $15.6 billion in assets. This includes 5.9 million ETH tokens, representing 4.9% of the total ETH coin supply of 120.7 million.
The company's Ethereum holdings are valued at approximately $12.7 billion, with a significant portion staked on the MAVAN platform. Bitmine is now 98% of the way to achieving its goal of holding 5% of the total ETH supply, a target it aims to reach in just 15 months.
As of August 30, 2026, Bitmine's ETH holdings are comprised of 5,067,309 staked tokens, generating an annualized staking reward of $390 million. This is projected to increase to $335 million once all of Bitmine's ETH is fully staked on the MAVAN platform.
In a statement, Thomas 'Tom' Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, noted that Ethereum has been the best-performing macro asset in 3Q26 so far, outperforming the S&P 500 by 5,430bp. He attributed this to the increasing use of Ethereum relative to Bitcoin and predicted that the ETH/BTC ratio will continue to rise as Wall Street tokenizes on the blockchain.
