Bitmine’s ETH Holdings Surpass 6 Million Tokens, Total Holdings Reach $17.4 Billion
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has announced that its Ethereum (ETH) holdings have reached 6.02 million tokens, representing 4.9% of the total ETH supply of 122.1 million. The company’s total crypto, cash, and marketable securities holdings now amount to $17.4 billion, including $13.8 billion in staked ETH at a price of $2,726 per token. Bitmine’s MAVAN platform, designed for institutional staking, has become a premier destination for ETH staking, with 5,067,309 ETH currently staked.
Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, highlighted the company’s consistent ETH accumulation strategy, noting that Bitmine has bought ETH every week since June 30, 2025. Lee also emphasized Bitmine’s outperformance relative to ETH and the S&P 500 during the 2025-2026 bear market, despite macroeconomic headwinds. The company’s staking operations generated a 7-day yield of 2.63%, with annualized staking revenues projected at $363 million.
Bitmine was recently added to the Russell 1000 Large-cap index and remains one of the most widely traded stocks in the US. The company’s Series A Preferred Stock trades on the NYSE under the symbol BMNP. Bitmine is backed by a group of institutional investors, including ARK’s Cathie Wood, Founders Fund, and Thomas Lee, who will deliver the keynote at the Token2049 conference in Singapore on October 7, 2026.
Bitmine’s strategy includes investments in early-stage blockchain opportunities, dubbed “moonshots,” such as its $117 million stake in Eightco (NASDAQ: ORBS). The company’s Chairman’s Message for October 2026, titled “Crypto bull underway, this cycle likely the largest,” is set to be released this week. Bitmine management believes that regulatory developments, including the GENIUS Act and the SEC’s Project Crypto, could be as transformational as the 1971 end of the Bretton Woods system.
