Bitmine's Ethereum Holdings Reach 6.02 Million Tokens, Total Holdings Top $17.4 Billion
Bitmine Immersion Technologies, Inc. (BMNR) has announced its Ethereum holdings have reached 6.02 million tokens, a significant milestone in the company's efforts to accumulate crypto for long-term investment. This represents 4.9% of the total ETH coin supply of 122.1 million. The company's total crypto and cash & marketable securities holdings now total $17.4 billion.
Bitmine's Chairman, Tom Lee, stated that the company's share price outperformed ETH during the bear market of 2025-2026, with BMNR down by 3% while ETH declined 10%. Lee attributed this to the company's commitment to optimizing shareholder return, including executing the largest ever crypto treasury equity buyback and acquiring 21 million shares in 2026 alone.
Lee will deliver the keynote at Token2049 on October 7, 2026, in Singapore, where he will discuss the 'Alchemy of 5%' and Bitmine's goal of acquiring 5% of the ETH supply. Bitmine's track record of consistent buying of crypto has been unmatched by any public company in the world, with the company having bought ETH each and every week since the inception of the ETH Treasury Strategy on June 30, 2025.
