Bitmine's Ethereum Holdings Reach 6.02 Million Tokens, Total Holdings Now Over $17 Billion
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has announced that its Ethereum holdings have reached 6.02 million tokens, representing 4.9% of the total ETH supply of 122.1 million. This milestone comes just 15 months after the company began its 'Alchemy of 5%' initiative, which aims to acquire 5% of the total ETH supply.
The company's total crypto and cash marketable securities holdings now total $17.4 billion, with a significant portion being ETH tokens. Bitmine's Chairman, Tom Lee, stated that the company's share price has outperformed ETH by 731 basis points during the bear market of 2025-2026.
Lee also noted that Bitmine's track record of consistent buying of ETH is unmatched by any public company in the world, with the company acquiring 15,112 ETH over the past week alone. This commitment to accumulating ETH has paid off, with the company's total staked ETH now standing at 5,067,309, generating a 7-day yield of 2.63% (annualized).
Bitmine's institutional-grade staking platform, MAVAN, has also been a key factor in the company's success, allowing institutional investors and ecosystem partners to stake their ETH and earn staking rewards. Bitmine's management believes that the company's focus on digital asset accumulation and treasury strategy will continue to drive growth and returns in the future.
