BitMine's Ethereum Staking Engine Surpasses 5.8M ETH, Generating $250M in Projected Revenue

BitMine's Ethereum Staking Engine continues to grow, reaching 5.82 million ETH as part of its treasury update. This represents a significant share of the total Ethereum supply, with BitMine holding roughly 4.8% of all existing ETH.

The company added 9,926 ETH over the past week, pushing its total to 5,815,164 ETH. However, the most notable figure is the 5,067,309 ETH that BitMine has staked, which accounts for approximately 87% of its Ethereum position.

BitMine projects about $250 million in annualized staking revenue from this staked amount, indicating a shift away from treating its treasury as a passive store of value and towards generating income through staking. This approach redefines the traditional treasury model and introduces new considerations for corporate yield strategies.
