Bitmine's Ethereum Treasury Soars to $15.8 Billion with $334M Staking Revenue Projected
Bitmine Immersion Technologies has significantly expanded its Ethereum holdings, projecting hundreds of millions of dollars in annual staking revenue. The company added 27,180 ETH to its treasury last week, bringing its total Ether holdings to over 5.95 million ETH. This represents about 4.9% of Ether's circulating supply and is worth approximately $15.4 billion.
Including cash and other crypto assets, Bitmine's total holdings are valued at around $15.8 billion. Of this amount, more than 5.06 million ETH is now staked, generating an estimated $334 million in annualized staking revenue at current rates. This is a substantial figure, especially considering that roughly 85% of its Ether is currently staked.
This strategy offers a key advantage over Bitcoin treasury companies, whose core BTC holdings do not generate native staking yield. Bitmine's focus on Ethereum staking has allowed it to create a potentially significant source of recurring revenue. For comparison, Grayscale Ethereum Staking ETF (ETHE) has 84.6% of its Ether holdings staked.
