Bitpanda's CEO Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad will step down in Q1 2027, according to an announcement from the company. He will remain in the role until then and lead the company alongside Co-Founder Christian Trummer, who will become Co-CEO effective immediately.

Trummer brings extensive experience as Chief Scientist and developer of the platform that underpins Bitpanda's strategy. The company is expanding its multi-asset offering across crypto, stocks, ETFs, and precious metals, and building infrastructure for financial institutions.

Eric Demuth, Executive Chairman and President of the Board, praised Enzersdorfer-Konrad's leadership in building a diversified business with strong foundations. Trummer will help drive Bitpanda's growth from a position of strength, according to Demuth.
