Bittensor Gains Traction as AI Services Market Heats Up
Bittensor (CRYPTO: TAO) is gaining traction in the AI services market, and I'm adding to my position this September. The network's V440 upgrade throttles new TAO issuance to subnets that fall below an average share of demand, allowing productive subnets to scale faster.
This change will enable them to offer better incentives to miners and potentially drive costs down for users. Bittensor's total revenue from customers is around $3 million to $15 million annually, but most on-chain activity on subnets is currently subsidized by the network itself.
Pump.fun (CRYPTO: PUMP), a meme coin launchpad on Solana, is trying to fend off new entrants like Pons. However, its shallow economic moat and reliance on token burning make it less appealing as a long-term investment.
